倫敦市長Sadiq Khan 宣佈倫敦的公共交通工具，將會來一次近十年的最大型加價。這些包括：Underground地下鐵、bus巴士、DLR輕鐵 和 tram電車。
加價將會在兩星期後，3月份起開始，平均升幅為4.8%。主要是為了追上現時通賬率，今年的通賬率創了新高，所以這次升幅被喻為近10年加幅最犀利的一次加價。
倫敦鐵路票價
以倫敦地鐵的單程車票計算：使用Oyster card 或 contractless的銀行卡購買，每程 zone 1 車費增加10p，而其他地區的車資將會增加10p至30p。
現金購票的升幅最高80p至£6.30。
倫敦巴士/電車票價
至於巴士和電車方面，車資增加由10p至£1.65不等，升幅高達6.5%，升幅比例較地鐵還要高，相信會增加低收入人士在經濟上的壓力。
高級機場票價+9點前禁止使用60歲免車資
早前，推出Heathrow Premium fare希斯路機場高級車票(非繁忙時間£10.40)，亦會同時被加價；加上60歲免車資計劃被禁止在9點前使用，光是這兩項因素，已能為他們收入帶來6000-8000萬英鎊。
票價曾被凍結
市長表示在2016至2021年間，一直凍結車票價格，每年已為市民節省超過£200的費用。由於疫情影響倫敦交通局的收入，令其出現財困。由於政府拒絕向倫敦交通局發放額外資金，才迫使他們走向這一步。並表示已盡他們所能來保持實惠的票價。
