英國的衛生局局長Matt Hancock剛發表，英國將要國家封鎖多3星期，即是表示除了必須的零售和服務性行業，其他行業都仍須繼續停工。
因此警察也為這3星期的封鎖令作出適當的調整，擴闊了出外的標準，並細列哪些是允許哪些是不能接受的:
警察容許和接受✅
必需品
- 購買多天的食物，物品可包括奢侈品、酒和零食。
- 購買少量的主食或必需品（例如報紙，寵物食糧，一條麵包或一盒牛奶）。
- 到朋友家領取/收集基本必需品。
- 購買工具和用品用作修復（例如：修理因惡劣天氣而損壞的圍欄）
日常鍛煉
- 容許到郊區外或城市內散步、跑步、騎自行車或練習瑜伽。
- 開車去郊區散步（該地點必須是很遠才可開車去）。
- 運動中途休息或吃午餐。
- 每天鍛煉多於一次：警察的考慮因素，看是否鍛煉相同的運動以被視為離開家的“合理理由”。
工作
- Key workers ( 必須出示有效職員證和證明信件）。
- 非Key workers 但不能在家工作 ( 必須出示有效職員證和證明信件）。
- 運送食物給長者和被照顧人士（例：長期病患者）。
其他原因
- 家中寵物需要進行治療。
- 因與家人爭執後，需要搬到朋友家住幾天，讓自己冷靜下來。
- 幫助長者和被照顧人士（例：長期病患者）。
警察不允許和不接受❎
必需品
- 不允許購買任何非必需品
- 不能為了重新裝修廚房而出外購物。例如：油漆和刷子等
日常鍛煉
- 不能為了短暫的鍛煉而開車到遠處
- 不能在運動的短時間內多次休息，或休息時間比運動時間長（例如：在公園長椅休憩）
工作
- 能在家工作的人，但選擇到工作地點上班
- 敲門找工作（洗窗、剪草）
其他原因
- 不能親身因開藥而去獸醫診（可以通過電話進行）。
- 因社交因素而拜訪朋友或出外。
