英國申請配偶簽證的條件有變！英國移民局在去年發佈一份移民條例變更的聲明（Statement of changes in the immigration Rules HC 246）, 裡面提及到由2024年2月1日起，”未婚伴侶”將有新的定義，將無須要求二人已同居兩年的證明。
英國配偶簽證的變更聲明中，題及Partner有了新的定義：
- Spouse
- 已婚配偶
- Civil partner
- 民事伴侶關係
- Unmarried partner, where the couple have been in a relationship similar to marriage or civil partnership for a least 2 years
- 未婚伴侶
- 雙方關係處於近乎婚姻或民事伴侶關係至少兩年。
新的規定中，刪除了之前 Unmarried partner （未婚伴侶）必須同居兩年的要求，主要是考慮到申請人可能由於工作 或 學習等原因而未能居住在一起，但如何證明具真實性而又持續的證明，當中最具說服力的證據當然是租屋合約 和 Council tax，但未能提出同居的證明的申請者，可以往以下方面去收集證明：
- 過時過節的賀卡
- 一起去度假的飛機票、火車票和酒店等
- 二人交往的紀錄
- 定期發信息、信件
- 二人合照
- 照顧二人共同的孩子（如有）
