英國加入歐盟超過40年，可惜在1月1日就要分手。但在這不夠3星期的時間內，英國仍未與歐盟國家談妥任何交易協議。假如未能達成協議，會對英國經濟有什麼影響？
貿易 Trade
每天有過千輛貨車通過Channel Tunnel往來英國和歐洲，貨車在免卻關稅、安檢等情況下運送食物和物資。在沒有交易協議的情況下，如運輸公司沒有提供正式報關文件，貨車將會在過關時被打回頭，貿易公司將要面對更多文書工作。如英國貨車在進入歐洲境內受到限制，估計將有三分二的企業無法繼續歐洲的業務，對依靠英國出口生意的企業是極嚴重的影響。
製造業 Manufacturing
沒有交易協議的話，英國和歐盟之間運輸的所有關稅和配額都會被取消。如按照世界貿易組織（WTO）的條款徵收關稅，進出口將變得更加昂貴。 例如，英國去年出口的100萬輛汽車中有一半以上是銷售到至歐盟市場的，他們將要面臨加收10％的關稅。
食物和農業 Food and agriculture
在沒有交易協議的話，往來英國和歐洲的所有食物都需要進行全新的食物安全檢驗。同樣地關稅將會增加，而某些農產品在出口時，將會被徵收更高的稅，例如：乳製品平均徵收35％，而某些肉類產品更會超過40％。
漁業 Fishing
漁業要面對的問題更嚴重，由於要區分海洋領域，歐洲漁船捕獲的海產魚類在分配上出現問題，歐洲應分配多少給英國？此外在沒有交易協議的情況下，Brussels布魯塞爾在沒有經雙方同意，是不能在歐英水域內捕魚。
雖然英國可能在脫歐後，英國漁船的捕獲數量更多，但同時面對出口關稅的問題。歐盟國家可能因此而提高稅收。
藥物 Medicines
即使達成協議，英國也將不再跟隨歐盟的醫療產品法規。除非，英國和歐盟認可雙方的生產標準，並成立醫療監管機構和達成互相監測的協議，就好像現時英國和加拿大的。否則，雙方的醫療產品公司將要開設兩條不同標準的生產線。
而運輸方面，根據世界貿易組織（WTO）的條款，藥品是不會被徵收關稅，但入境時，將會接受額外的檢查。
航班 Flights
理論上沒有達成協議的話，航班將要被停飛，因為英國飛行執照在歐洲大陸上將不再有效。但雙方國家表示會各自採取措施，在法律基礎下令商業航班保持運作。
數據 Data
影響得最深遠的可能是英國和歐盟之間巨大的數據流量，因為不論是購物平台、銀行，甚至千萬個企業背後都需要強大的數據流量來支持。假如歐盟不授予英國獲得數據，英國公司想從歐洲轉移數據就變得不合法的。
旅遊 Travel
明年想到歐洲旅行就會變得複雜，雖然不用簽證，但英國公民將要支付7個歐元＝£6.38來申請許可證，這證的有效期是3年。其次是護照，護照必須至少有6個月的有效期。最後英國駕駛執照需要換成國際車牌才可在歐洲國家開車。
入境移民 Immigration
不論是企業想招聘歐洲人才，還是在英國學習讀書，都需要簽證。而想留英工作的人，就需要通過申請『new points-based system』以計分方式來獲得簽證。
科學與教育 Science and education
英國的大學和研究人員將會可能失去800億歐元的科學資助計劃Horizon Europe。而『Erasmus交換生計劃』原本英國學生可以到歐洲逗留和學習，但隨著沒有達成協議而泡湯。
保安、法律和秩序 Security, law and order
即使英國不在歐洲逮捕令系統內，但情報安全分享將會如常繼續進行。可惜是，英國警察將被削去權力，不能進入歐盟的罪犯、通緝犯、DNA和指紋的數據庫。
金融服務 Financial services
這行業的命運要視乎『Brussels grants』是否授予英國的金融中心”對等” 的關係。如沒有『Brussels grants』認可，英國的某些金融產品將會無法銷售到歐洲，甚至成本會提高。
