全國焦點『Autumn budget 2021 秋季財政預算』要出爐，這報告正正影響著明年22/23年度的稅項和政府各種支出。
Emily在這裡做了個總結，重點寫出財政局長Rishi Sunak在會上發表的財政預算：
最低工資 Minimum Wages
新一年將提升最低工資的標準：

| 23歲或以上 | £8.91 | £9.50 |
| 21-23歲 | £8.36 | £9.18 |
| 18-20歲 | £6.56 | £6.83 |
| 16-17歲 | £4.62 | £4.81 |
| 學徒 | £4.30 | £4.81 |
公務員的1年凍薪將會在新的財政年度完結，但不保證工資提升至通漲的水平。
稅項 Tax
- National Insurance Contribution 國民保險供款將要在明年提升，由原先的12%增加至13.25%。關於如何計算可閱讀此文章
- VAT沒有任何變動，但承諾有減不會增
- 由於電費和物品的價格上漲，所以預計政府在VAT稅收上可獲增加£40億英鎊收入
- Council Tax 稅收上，預計要增加每年大約6%
- 銀行業可獲大幅減稅，銀行附加費由8% 減至3%
福利 Benefits
- Universal Credit 統一福利救濟金的錐率（taper rate）放寬，由63%改為55%，這表示他們每月將可獲得較之前多的福利金。計劃將在最遲12月1日啟動
- Universal Credit 的工作津貼（work allowance ）增加多£500一年，讓有小孩或殘疾人士的家庭可獲得更大的福利
抗疫和醫護 Covid and NHS
- 政府將投放£60億英鎊，來解決大量正在排隊等候診治的病人 和投放在電子設施上
- 未來3年，NHS的每年預算將增加3.8%
香煙和酒精飲品 Cigarettes and alcohol
- 酒精飲品的稅收，將因應酒精濃度而改變，酒精含量低稅低，酒精含量高稅高
- 香檳酒的28%特高稅項，可能將會在下年度刪除
- 香煙稅增加，由4.9%增加至6.9%，捲菸增至10.9%。以最便宜的香煙品牌（20支）計算每包菸增加了61p。
- 香煙稅的變更由今日（27/10）傍晚6時起開始實施
汽油稅、路稅、交通工具 和 基礎設施 Fuel, road, transport and infrastructure
- 汽油稅繼續凍結，英國已連續12年凍結汽油稅
- 暫停收取重型貨車稅至2023年，以援助現時的短缺
- 凍結重型貨車的汽車消費稅
- £26億英鎊改善路面
- £57億英鎊 給Greater Manchester, the West Midlands和 South Yorkshire 等城市，改善鐵路、電車、單車設施等
房屋 Housing
- New property developers tax(新房屋地產開發商稅) 年利潤達£2500萬，便需要支付4%稅款
- 上列稅項用作維修問題樓宇（cladding）
- £115億英鎊用作建築18萬個新樓房，是一般市民能負擔的價格
商業和科技 Businesses & technology
- 零售業、酒店飲食業和娛樂業的商業稅減半1年，最多可減免£110,000
- 商業稅將會每3年一次調整利率
- 建議和鼓勵企業從商業稅上節省出來的資金，投放在綠色能源上，例如：安裝太陽能電板
- 核心科學基金增加至每年£59億英鎊
- 投放£14億資金給全球英國投資基金，用作資助汽車業和生命科學
教育與育兒 Education & Childcare
- 投放£8200萬在75個市政府地區開設家庭中心（family hubs）
- 開設一個名為『One-Stop-Shop』來帶出『育兒計劃』『餵母乳建議』『心理健康支持』等資訊
- £18億用作協助恢復和趕上教育進度
