Portsmouth 人口越來越稠密，有超過50%的空氣污染由車輛造成。因此市政府決定跟隨London和Birmingham的步伐，推行Clean-air zone，期望減低碳排放量，改善空氣質素。
由11月29日起，Portsmouth便開始推行 Clean-air zone，以下的車輛如低於 柴油Euro six或 汽油Euro four的標準，將需要繳交入城費：
- taxis 的士
- buses 巴士
- coaches 旅遊巴
- private hires 私人出租車
- heavy duty vehicles 重型貨車

| 巴士 旅遊巴 重型貨車 | £50/日 |
私人汽車或小型貨車（Van）暫時不受影響，可以無須擔心。

允許汽車拖曳
由11月15日起，任何在1997年1月1日考獲一般駕駛執照的人士，將無須額外考試，亦可拖曳最多3500公斤的拖車。
即表示，當你下次更換新駕駛執照時，你便發現新加上 Category BE（Car & Trailer）
駕駛執照延期將要完結
在這裡提醒大家，去年因英國封城，DVLA允許過期駕駛執照延期更換手續。當時政府允許在2020年2月1日 至 12月31日期間過期的駕駛執照，可最多延期11個月。
以12月份過期的駕駛執照來說，必須在今個月內完成更換手續。否則便是違法，可被罰款£1000、扣除6分，期間出現任何意外，保險公司均可拒絕賠償。
