首先，你必須是首個報告棄置房屋位置的人，假如這房屋已曾被報告過，你將不會獲任何獎勵和傭金。
You Spot property：
假如你成功成為首個報告棄置房屋位置的人，你將先獲取£20購物禮券。然後房產公司會著手開始購買房屋的事宜，期間你無需做任何事。當他們成功購入房屋，你將會收到通知，並支付你1%的傭金（傭金是根據房產公司的購入價而定）。
Empty Properties UK：
Empty properties UK有些不同，成功成為首個報告棄置房屋位置的人，沒有£20購物禮券。但他們承諾房屋購買到手後，你將可獲得1% 或 至少£1000 的傭金。
疑似已被棄置的物業
通常被棄置的物業，有幾個共通點：
- 沒有人或汽車出入
- 窗戶和大門被木板封著
