大概在兩星期前，英國首相在議會上提及計劃在今個月尾把英格蘭回復正常。終於在今日(2月21日)宣佈在今個星期四起（2月24日），將自我隔離規定刪除。並從4月1日起開始，所有免費的病毒檢測服務亦會被終止，實行將病毒當作一般的流感看待，與病毒共存！

英格蘭在抗疫措施上有什麼變更？

2月21日：

棄用每週兩次的無症狀檢測（Lateral flow test），包括：托兒服務、學校 和 其他教育機構的職員和學生。

2月24日：

  • 在自我檢測中，獲得『陽性』的結果後，法律上將不會限制確診者必須自我隔離。
  • 但仍建議確診者盡可能留在家中至少5天。
  • 已完成接種疫苗 或 18歲以下的密切接觸者，無須進行7天的每天自我檢測。
  • 低收入的確診者，因自我隔離可獲發£500的一次性補貼金，將會被取消。
  • 適用於Covid的法定病假，延長1個月。
  • 倫敦的公共交通工具，無須強制性佩戴口罩。

4月1日：

  • 由英國政府提供給市民免費使用的PCR病毒檢測，將會完結。
  • 免費的PCR病毒檢測，只會向老弱病殘的人士提供。
  • 出現Covid病毒症狀的人士，將需要履行個人責任，自行決定是否留在家中。
  • 政府將會完結對『NHS Covid Passport 病毒通行證』的使用指引，並建議各類型的場所停止使用NHS Covid Passport
