今日10月1日起全新法例推出 -『Natasha’ s Law』，英格蘭所有直接銷售的預先包裝的食品（PPDS）都必須加上新的食物標籤。違者將可最高刑罰是被判監和罰款£5000， 對新規例有什麼要注意？
政府為何訂立『Natasha’ s Law』？
在2016年，1名15歲的英國女子名Natasha Ednan-Laperouse，在倫敦希斯路機場的Pret-a-Manger購買一份法式麵包三文治，原本對芝麻敏感的她，未知是否包裝上的成份含糊不清，因而導致她誤吃，在飛機上病發身亡。（在麵包粉團內加入芝麻，但包裝上沒有列明）
後來，其家人極力爭取政府立例管制食物標籤，他們認為只要食肆能清晰地列出成份，這事情是可避免發生的。
什麼食物是直接銷售的預先包裝的食品（PPDS）？
直接銷售的預先包裝的食品（PPDS）指在銷售地點準備、製作、烹調 和 包裝後直接出售的食物（並非顧客預先訂購或下單），預先包裝好的三明治、已經包裝好的快餐、超級市場內的熟食等，這些的包裝上都必須列明所有食物成份標籤。
例如：職員在早上預備並包裝好的三明治，放在店內銷售，顧客只需在貨架上拿起和付款，便可直接食用。這就是『PPDS』。

PPDS標籤上如何列明成份？
標籤上必須清晰列印以下資料：
- 食物名稱
- 完整的成分列表
- 致敏成分必須強調地顯示（例如使用粗體、斜體或不同顏色）
什麼食肆不受影響？
- 酒吧 Pubs
- 餐廳 Restaurants
- 外賣店 Takeaways
顧客在店內點餐後，廚房才開始準備和製作食物，則無須貼上食物標籤。但食店仍有責任向顧客提供或解答有關店內餐飲的成份和資料。
英國最常見的致敏食物
- 西芹Celery
- 早餐穀物Cereals containing gluten (麥片 oats and 大麥 barley)
- 甲殼類 Crustaceans (螃蟹 crabs, 龍蝦 lobster, 蝦 prawns)
- 蛋類 Eggs
- 魚類 Fish
- 奶類 Milk
- 羽扇豆 Lupin
- 軟體動物 Molluscs (生蠔 oysters and 青口 mussels)
- 芥末 Mustard
- 芝麻 Sesame
- 花生 Peanuts
- 大豆 Soybeans
- 二氧化硫和亞硫酸鹽 Sulphur dioxide and sulphites (濃度高於百萬分之十)
- 樹堅果 Tree nuts (杏仁almonds, 核桃 walnuts, 巴西堅果brazil nuts, 榛子 hazelnuts, 核桃pecans, 腰果cashews, 澳洲堅果 macadamias 和 開心果pistachios)
