英國白金漢宮在今日2022年9月8日宣佈，英女王 Elizabeth II 逝世的消息，在位於蘇格蘭的莊園城堡Balmoral安詳離世，終年96 歲。接下來皇室將會有10天時間處理葬禮的事宜， 哪麼這10天會有什麼事發生？
當天即日
根據排列，查爾斯王子是王位的第一順位繼承人，因此會即時繼位，並準備在英女王出殯前探訪全英國的活動。
儀式上，Whitehall會下降半旗。皇室的官方網站暫停，並以英女王俏像配以全黑色背景，宣佈英女王逝世的聲明。
英女王逝世的第一天
查爾斯將被宣佈成為新的君主 – 『英國國王』。 英國國會的事務將會暫停10天。
英女王逝世的第二天
由於英女王在蘇格蘭逝世，所以英女王遺體的棺木將會由Operation Union處理運送。棺木乘搭皇家列車運送返回倫敦，新任的首相和內閣成員將會在倫敦St. Pancras火車站等候和迎接。
英女王逝世的第三和第四天
查爾斯王子開始他探訪英國的活動。
棺木將會在第五天，由Buckingham Palace 送至 the Palace of Westminster，因此需要做彩排。

棺木由Buckingham Palace 送至 the Palace of Westminster，然後在Westminster Hall舉行儀式。
英女王逝世的第六天
英女王靈體的棺木會存放在the Palace of Westminster 三天，讓公眾入內向英女王遺體鞠躬、獻花等表達敬意。
皇室方面，在第六天需要舉行國葬遊行的彩排。各國的元首和外國貴賓也會抵達英國，參加葬禮。
英女王生前和首相同意，將葬禮的當天將會是“Day of National Mourning 全國哀悼日”，可被視為Bank Holiday銀行假期，但非官方宣佈的正式假期，因此雇主無須跟從，放假與否由雇主決定。
英女王出殯日
葬禮將在Westminster Abbey西敏寺大教堂舉行，當日的中午時份，全國將舉行兩分鐘的默哀。 下葬儀式將在溫莎城堡的St. George’s Chapel舉行，然後安葬在King George VI Memorial Chapel內。
