在疫情封鎖期間，食肆被迫關門不能正常營業。解封後，政府希望透過『Eat Out to Help Out』計劃，鼓勵市民出外用餐，幫助餐廳食肆重上軌道。
『Eat Out to Help Out』是個限定計劃，在8月份開始的每個星期一、二和三，光顧參與此計劃的餐廳、酒吧、咖啡店、工作和學校的食堂 等堂食的地方，政府為市民支付餐飲金額的一半，每人最高可達£10折扣，使用次數不限，但酒精飲品不適用此優惠。
8月份的『Eat Out to Help Out』日子：

- 8月10日至 12日
- 8月17日至 19日
- 8月24日至 26日
