英國皇家鑄幣局The Royal Mint一直以來都有推出不同主題設計的50p硬幣，今次要特別提及這款新推出的50p，因為這款設計將會是最後一款掛有英女皇頭像的50p硬幣。
Harry Potter 25週年紀念
適逢今年是英國最暢銷的書籍 Harry Potter的25週年紀念，Royal Mint特意推出一套4款的50p硬幣，4款設計以 Harry Potter 的核心人物和場景為主。這套硬幣最特別之處是背面分別使用了兩代英國君主的頭像，兩款是英女皇頭像，另外兩款是查理斯三世：
- Harry Potter 英女皇頭像
- Hogwarts Express 英女皇頭像
- Albus Dumbledore 查理斯三世頭像
- Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry 查理斯三世頭像
首兩款Harry Potter和Hogwarts Express已經開始發售，其餘兩款將有待明年才會推出。
