今年3月，Amazon在英國倫敦開設第一間的『無人商店』，全程利用Amazon App和店內錄影鏡頭來完成購物。最近，Aldi超級市場表示將會在倫敦南部的Greenwich 開設首間『無收銀』商店，這商店形式與Amazon有何分別？
Amazon 『無人商店』如何運作？
顧客只須在進入Amazon店時，掃描 Amazon app 內的QR code，店內的防盜系統會透過鏡頭觀察整個購物過程，來計算顧客的購物內容。
當顧客完成購物離開後，Amazon app將會自動計算，在各下的Amazon App內收費，並電郵單據給各下。因此顧客只要在貨架上獲得想要的物品，便可直接離開，無需排隊付款。
Aldi的『無收銀』商店與 Amazon 『無人商店』有何分別？
根據報導，店內將會有固定的員工，然後利用鏡頭、感應器和人工智能的組合，來辨別購物者拿起的物品，並在顧客離開後自動收費。購物方式與Amazon無異，同樣以智能手機App運作付款，客人無須再花時間排隊和掃描貨品，簡單方便。
Aldi共花了180萬英鎊在這套系統上，現時已經開始測試這個全自動化的商店。店舖開幕確實的日期還未定（傳聞是10月尾），相信待完成測試後會正式公佈。
Aldi是英國最便宜的超級市場之一
來自德國的Aldi，越來越受英國人歡迎的主要原因是價格非常低，過往一直是『最低價超級市場』，雖然在2021年未能獲得殊榮，但與第一位的LIDL相比，只是些微差別。
在9月初，『Which』雜誌發佈一份向全國的超級市場進行調查，以相同的自家品牌食品來作比較，了解哪間超級市場的平均消費最低。作者選擇了23件生活上必須的食物（雞蛋、蔬菜、生果、麵包、薯片、茶葉等）來進行比較：
