由2023年5月10號開始，所有英國家長可以經過gov.uk線上申請兒童福利金（Child Benefit），無需再打印並郵寄紙質表格或致電HMRC。這項更新服務是英國政府所承諾的數字化便民服務其中一部份，意味著家長可以在幾天內就收到付款而不像之前那樣要等幾週。
如何使用線上服務
父母們可以通過以下兩個方法進行申請：
申請條件
一個家庭只有一個人可以為一名兒童領取兒童福利金。如果你負責撫養任何 16 歲以下的孩子並且居住在英國，那麼你通常有資格獲得兒童福利金。
你可以用以下任何一條來界定你有撫養責任：
- 你和孩子住在一起
- 你支付照顧孩子任何生活所需的開支 – 例如食物、衣服或零用錢
如果你的孩子符合以下任何條件，資格規則會有所不同：
受到移民管制可否申請
如果你受到移民管制（例如BNO VISA），則不能申請兒童福利金，除非你是：
- 擔保移民 – 有其他人同意對你承擔經濟責任
- 來自阿爾巴尼亞、摩洛哥、聖馬力諾、突尼斯或土耳其並在英國工作
- 來自以下與英國有兒童福利協議的國家：
- 巴巴多斯
- 波斯尼亞和黑塞哥維那
- 加拿大
- 海峽群島
- 以色列
- 科索沃
- 毛里求斯
- 黑山
- 新西蘭
- 北馬其頓
- 塞爾維亞
