假如你一直使用BRP 或 BRC 這類的實體文件，你便需要留意以下的內容。
英國將在明年起開始進行全面數碼電子化，推行移民電子化系統，並在2025年1月起正式停止使用傳統證明移民身分的實體文件（例如BRP、BRC、蓋印在護照上的簽證 等），將由電子簽證（e-visa）取代。簽證持有者將需要依靠e-visa身分來證明其工作權、租屋權和開立銀行帳戶權利。
沒有E-visa將會變『黑工』
為了配合推行移民電子化系統，Home office 內政部早在22年4月已更改 Right to work guidance內容，傳統的BRP卡將不被接納為合法文件，因此雇主們有責任向職員索取有效的E-visa，顧員沒有及時註冊UKVI賬戶領取有效的E-visa，將不能繼續上班。
註冊UKVI
Home office已開始逐漸向BRP卡的持有人發出信件（或電郵）通知，信件內容或許提及到你的BRP卡將在 2024 年 12 月31日到期，並提醒你註冊UKVI賬戶以獲得有效的E-visa。所以當獲得通知的人士，應儘早完成註冊UKVI，這不但可以令更新個人資料 或 檢查簽證狀態 等 變得更容易管理，最重要的是確保你能順利及時更換電子簽證，避免不必要的麻煩。

目前，具體的註冊細節還未公佈，但預計快將公佈詳細說明。
