蘇格蘭的首都『愛丁堡』，由11月16日起至明年2020的1月4日都有聖誕活動，活動一年比一年大型，完全不輸給倫敦。在這裡讓我介紹一下今年的活動：
聖誕市集 East Princes Street Gardens
基乎每個城市都有的聖誕市集，位於愛丁堡的心臟地帶。傳統的聖誕市場有手工藝品、過節禮品，還有當地盛產的產品和美味佳餚⋯⋯等等，是感受聖誕節的最佳地點。

愛丁堡24道門日曆 24 Doors of Advent
愛丁堡政府以倒數聖誕節的來臨的日曆方式，讓大家了解愛丁堡的歷史。 每天免費開放一道愛丁堡獨特地點的大門給公眾參觀。 不要錯過參觀Mansfield Traquair，海關，BT Murrayfield或Anatomical Museum解剖博物館等地方的機會。
社區聖誕節 Community Christmas
由12月11日起一共12晚，每晚7時正政府將會在十二個地方的建築物上播放冬季投射燈，配合合唱團的聖誕表演，讓整個社區感受聖誕氣氛。

晚燈 Light Night
這是愛丁堡的傳統活動，有由Forth Radio舉辦的音樂會帶來愛丁堡的Little Voices Big Star、搖滾合唱團和來自愛丁堡皇家音樂劇院的社區合唱團的表演。
表演過後，隨著煙花的放送，聖誕老人將會從天而降為大家送上祝福。

聖誕頌歌音樂會 Nativity Carol Concert
一年一度的聖誕頌歌音樂會，為十二月的慶祝活動開幕。當中有來自愛丁堡各地的合唱團一起獻唱傳統的聖誕頌歌。

蘇格蘭挪威降臨音樂會 Scottish Norwegian Advent Concert
今年有鋼琴家英格·克里斯汀·裡伯（Inger-Kristine Riber）和挪威歌手里頓·霍韋（Reidun Horvei）與愛丁堡的斯科拉·坎托勒姆（Schola Cantorum）一起在指揮家埃里克·馮·艾伯勒（Eric von Ibler）的表演下演出。
