交通業的工會 Unite 指巴士公司提出低於通脹的加薪是不合理的，決定在今個星期的六、日、一 發起罷工。共有超過1600名巴士司機參與採取罷工行動。
目前的通脹是10%
London United 獲首都倫敦的巴士專營權，工會指出London United 單單在2021年的盈利達£1.75 億，但卻在最近一次調整薪金的建議中，提出今年只提高3.6%，明年提升至4.2%。對於現時10%的通賬來說，這絕對是減薪。
Bank Holiday weekend
罷工將會在今個星期的六、日 和下星期一，巴士罷工必令班次減少，加上星期一8月29日是Bank Holiday（銀行假期），相信有很多市民外出，大家要出外或許要想想其他辦法（步行/騎單車）。
受影響的巴士路線：
罷工行動將影響以下地點的London United巴士：

- Hounslow
- Hounslow Heath
- Park Royal
- Shepherd’s Bush
- Stamford Brook
- Tolworth
