英國的招聘廣告的工資內容旁，經常出現Pro Rata的字眼，什麼是Pro Rata？如何計算年薪？
什麼是Pro Rata？
『Pro Rata』 是行內術語，來自”來自拉丁語中的Proportional，指『按比例』的意思。簡而言之，按比例根據工作時間的長或短，以全職年薪來計算你所得工資。這種字眼常見於兼職工作，並以月薪支付工資。
如何計算年薪？
以上圖為例，招聘廣告的入職年薪是£24,739（pro rata），這薪金只適用於全職（每星期的工作時間是40小時），但實際廣告招聘是29.6小時，只屬於兼職，因此廣告中列出的年薪並非真正的年薪工資。
年薪的計算方法：
£24739 除以 40 ＝ £618
£618 x 29.6 ＝ £18,306
所以這份工作的實際年薪是£18,306
時薪的計算方法：
£24739 除以 52 個星期，然後再除以 40 ＝ £11.89
