Marriage allowance（結婚津貼） 由2016年4月開始接受，這津貼可將 每年£1,190英鎊的個人免稅額轉移給您的丈夫，妻子或民事伴侶。這樣，每個年度所納的稅（4月6日至次年4月5日）可減高達£238英鎊。

假設一對夫婦，你比你的伴侶賺得少 (年收入低於£11,850英鎊)。而你的伴侶的年收入在£11,851英鎊到£46,350英鎊（蘇格蘭的£43,430英鎊）之間，你們更有資格申請此津貼。

除了來年的津貼，你還可以索回由2015年4月5日至今的結婚津貼。 如果你的伴侶已經死亡，你仍然可以索回 – 可致電Income Tax熱線：0300 200 3300。

網上申請，申請前你需要準備：

你需要你和你伴侶的國民保險號碼（NI Number) 。

如果你在英國但沒有工作或學習，則無法提供國民保險號碼。 你需要致電Income Tax熱線：0300 200 3300，以申請婚姻津貼。

同時你還需要以下其中一種方法來證明您的身份：

  • 你的child benefit, tax credits 或 pension的帳戶的最後4位數字
  • 支付利息的帳戶的最後4位數字
  • 年收入稅單- P60
  • 你最近3個月的工資單
  • 你的護照號碼和有效期日期
