英國能源市場監管機構Ofgem宣佈，10月將能源價格的上限再次調升，增加多每年£1578。即表示在10月1日起，電、媒的能源上限由每年£1971 改為 每年£3549。
此外，今次受影響不只是一般用戶，他們同時調升Prepayment energy meter（增值能源讀標）用戶的價格上限，將增加至 每年£3,608。
