每日，英國入境客流量超過 10,000 人，如何確保所有旅客有足夠的酒店提供10天的自我隔離？初步討論階段，政府正在考慮旅客可能入住機場酒店，亦同時與IHG集團商討如何實行。（IHG集團旗下有Holiday Inn、Intercontinental等）
QUARAN-TECH 高智能面部識辯功能
與此同時，政府亦曾建議使用QUARAN-TECH高智能面部識辯功能，來監測隔離人士留在酒店房間。這絕對是需要酒店來配合，由此可見假如計劃實行的話，旅客將只可以入住指定酒店來進行自我隔離。
收費
酒店的住宿和飲食費用將會由旅客自行負擔，估計10天的隔離費用每人平均可能高達£1500。
