過去幾年因疫情嚴重，某些市政府為防止市民聚集而取消Bonfire night活動。雖然疫情已去，但今年市民要面對比病毒更可怕的『Cost of Living crisis 生活成本危機』。過往，市政府對煙花夜非常重視，會舉辦大型煙花匯演，但由於煙花價格極高，很多市政府為減輕經濟負擔，都分別表示今年的Bonfire night活動將會被取消。
Bonfire night 活動取消：
截至10月14日，已宣佈決定取消Bonfire Night活動的城市有：
- Manchester
- Dundee
- Leeds
- Hackney
- Cardiff
- Glasgow
- Leverhulme Park（Bolton）
- Tockwith（Yorkshire）
