數月前，英國生活成本危機，市民為節省開支紛紛取消訂閱網上串流平台，其中Netflix是最受影響，用戶大量流失。為收復失地，最近宣佈開通新的平價月費計劃，在11月3日起推出超平價月費計劃，只需£4.99就可以成為Netflix 會員，觀看他們經典、獨家的劇集、電影和玩遊戲，不過平價月費仍要付出代價…..因為觀看影片的同時亦需要觀看廣告！
影片內播放廣告
開設最平月費的用戶在觀看影片時，15或30秒的廣告將會在影片中出現，平均每小時的影片會播放大概4至5分鐘的廣告，頻率甚高。Netflix沒有明確表示將未會否提高廣告的播放頻率，但肯定的是，13歲以下內容的影片，將不會播放廣告。
